So Even though its a bit early for Lip Fame Friday but we just couldn't resist sharing with everyone what we just discovered. Since IMATS just happened in LA and of course our favorite YouTube Make Up Bloggers have just overloaded us with Make Up hauls, brands and just leaving us wanting more. One of our Favorites Kandee Johnson - (Channel) did a huge haul including Dose of Colors, Kryolan, Appeal Cosmetics just to name a few! But what we are most excited about it OCC (Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics) newest addition to their Lip Tar collection...

We're -on our own- obsessed with Matte in general that this just made our hearts melts and just made our mornings that much better. With a long lasting high pigment color that won't dry out your lips, we give this our high rating- and not just because it's matte. We always recommend with a matte finish to do a lip scrub the night before and extra hydration for your lips.

Lip Fame Friday

Lip Fame Fridays have begun and we wanted to start it off with a big kick in the face to this Friday with our newest obsession by Lime Crime! The beautiful and adored Doe Deere created Lime Crime in 2008 launching an inspiring line of cosmetics that pushed the bar on everything you thought you knew about color.

LIME CRIME IS SYNONYMOUS WITH INNOVATIVE, VEGAN & CRUELTY-FREE MAKEUP FOR FASHION FORWARD GIRLS AROUND THE WORLD.

Featuring multiple colors including brights, pastels,mattes, glosses to just plain glitter for your lips! We are fascinated with their products so far and wish we were at IMATS to see their newest Clueless Witch collection for their Velvetines in person!

  We do have reviews for their Velvetines in Pink and Red Velvet for this week and look out for next Lip Fame Friday! We will be reviewing  Opaque Lipsticks in Airborne Unicorn and Poisonberry (which we were luck to snatch before they sold out)!

 The two above are the Velvetines in Pink and Red Velvet and they are by far our favorites! They go on as a liquid stain and a little bit goes a long way. They are a matte finish; we do recommend using a lip balm after if your lips are dry and remember to exfoliate before for a smooth finish. They both have a high pigment and great coverage. The colors are as you see them above and are so rich they definitely make a statement.

After an 8 hour day, lunch and coffee we still had Pink Velvet on our lips and still bright as when we just applied it. The applicator is just the perfect size to apply evenly and create smooth lines. No lip liner needed for these, but if you need to create a barrier there is always the No Bleeding Lips Lip Liner that you can find at Sephora that goes on clear.

Overall we ecstatic about these Velvetines by Lime Crime and if you are looking for a nice matte high pigmented lip stain this is one we definitely recommend and they are only $20 each! Bite: Agave Lip Mask

Lips feeling a bit chapped these past couple of weeks with all the crazy weather? Well check out Bite's newest addition to their line! Their new Agave Lip Mask is only $26 and works miracles. This lip mask contains a bio-active blend of organic agave nectar, jojoba oil, vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine.

I am fortunate enough to sit next to a beauty addict and of course she was nice enough to spoil us with a sample and it was heaven. It goes on a bit thick but you can leave it on all day or over night and it revives your lips back to health. The following day your lips feel smooth and lip stick will last even longer. We also noticed that at the end of the day our lipstick wasn't highlighting the creases in our lips either. This is a definite splurge and worth it, remember a little goes a long way. Nail Trends Spring 2014

When life seems down, a new polish seems to change everything around.

Of course we all have those days that everything seems to be a bit down and then we find ourselves instantly turned around by a $10 bottle of perfect polish to completely change our moods around. Looking ahead into the newest season and collections down the runway we also caught a glimpse of what colors will be trending for nails.We continue to see the pale white, soft pastels, nail art including a single stroke across and half moons with a contrasting color!

 

Radiant Orchid: Pantone Color of the Year

Radiant recently released their signature color of the year; Radiant Orchid. Such a beautiful vibrant color we are excited to see it on the runway and even off into the beauty industry. Be on the lookout for weddings this years to have a dash of pop color or a hue of this vibrant purple. We even found it in some of our favorite make up products featured below; will you be rocking Radiant Purple this 2014?

The New Year is finally here, 2014 here we come and we are all looking forward to all the new things to come. We hope everyone got to party down 2013 and party up 2014. Pinterest Findings: JustByManon

Of course we are constantly on Pinterest looking for new inspiration and of course pretty pictures to look at on our down time. During this holiday break we happened to stumble upon JustByManon; a blog on kids clothing line for the modern urbanist. With daily outifts and cute kids we just couldn't resist.

The blog is in Dutch so make sure to have on your Google Translate but they have the cutest outfits! Their Pinterest, with well over 9 thousand followers, obviously we were a bit late to discover these wonderfully ladies from the Netherlands. Céline Spring 2014 Paris

Taking a new approach this season channeling artisanal concepts, tribal prints and bold graphics Philo made Céline into a new creative motif. With brush strokes adorning garments as they walked down the runway and delicate pleated skirts flowing against the breeze as models walked; it all created a vibrant feel to the show. Oversized outerwear with multi colored rings were paired with stunning bags of all colors and metal types. Philo captured the perfect balance of fashionable yet bold for women of all types. Cats, floral, mud and beauty - Vivienne Westwood Spring 2014

Goddess dresses made from jersey to satin gowns, Westwood captured a modern times streetwear in a pilgrimage era. With mud splattered on the model's faces and Scraps of fabric draped from their bodies, the newest Spring  2014 collection featured beautiful pieces from the mother of punk herself. featuring pieces of plaid, to cats on tops to beautiful gowns accessorized with florals and mixed greenery. Paris Fashion Week Recap -Haider Ackermann

We've been a bit MiA these past couple of weeks for travel but catching up quickly with a fashion d jump for everyone not in Paris! Big recap of more Spring 2014 collections from everyone from Kenzo to Viktor & Rolf! 

Here is a bit of a recap of Haider Ackermann's show this weekend in Paris. Colombian born designer was on my radar back in college and knew he was destined for something big. Glad to see his newest works and know there will be so much more to praise! If you are not familiar with him check out Interview Magazine's article on him.

The media demoed his choice of hairstyle for the models as "confused" but we think that it just worked with his whole collection and worked with every style. Here are our top picks from the show.
