We do have reviews for their Velvetines in Pink and Red Velvet for this week and look out for next Lip Fame Friday! We will be reviewing Opaque Lipsticks in Airborne Unicorn and Poisonberry (which we were luck to snatch before they sold out)!
The two above are the Velvetines in Pink and Red Velvet and they are by far our favorites! They go on as a liquid stain and a little bit goes a long way. They are a matte finish; we do recommend using a lip balm after if your lips are dry and remember to exfoliate before for a smooth finish. They both have a high pigment and great coverage. The colors are as you see them above and are so rich they definitely make a statement.
After an 8 hour day, lunch and coffee we still had Pink Velvet on our lips and still bright as when we just applied it. The applicator is just the perfect size to apply evenly and create smooth lines. No lip liner needed for these, but if you need to create a barrier there is always the No Bleeding Lips Lip Liner that you can find at Sephora that goes on clear.
Overall we ecstatic about these Velvetines by Lime Crime and if you are looking for a nice matte high pigmented lip stain this is one we definitely recommend and they are only $20 each!
